Church History

Church history is the study of how the church has grown and developed from the time of the apostles to our present day. This includes the development of Christian theology and the church’s approach to theological controversies as well as the interactions between church and political authorities and cultural movements. The study of church history allows believers to see God’s providential care and provision for his people through times of great difficulty and persecution as well as times of outward blessing and prosperity.
