Jon Zens

Jon Zens was born in 1945 and grew up in California. He studied art at Valley State College, in Northridge. After his conversion in 1965, he transferred to Bob Jones University to study the Bible. In the summer of 1967 he became convinced of the Doctrines of Grace, commonly called Calvinism. He then transferred to Covenant College where he graduated with a B.A. degree. In 1972 he graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with an M.Div. He then took a call to become the pastor of the Nashville Reformed Baptist Church in Tennessee. Zens is currently the editor of Searching Together, a quarterly magazine whose mission is to "Speak Biblical Truth in Love."
