Teaching with Thirdmill's Curriculum

Many pastors, missionaries and teachers regularly teach in places that could benefit from Thirdmill's curriculum. If you have an upcoming missions or teaching opportunity, here are some ways you can help your audience learn to use Thirdmill's multimedia lessons:

  • Watch or listen to the lessons yourself ahead of time, then present the lessons to your class in video or audio format. Make sure to take lesson guides for everyone in the class and take a digital copy of the two-year curriculum for the local learning community.
  • In settings where video and audio presentations aren't efficient, familiarize yourself with the video and complete your lesson guide. Then use your completed lesson guide as a teaching outline. Consider providing lesson guides for your students and leaving a digital copy of the curriculum in the event that download options become possible for the learning community.
  • Introduce your students to the materials by showing them how to view the multimedia lessons and how to use the lesson guides.
  • If your missions or teaching opportunity qualifies under our reproduction policy, remind the learning community that they can make copies of and freely distribute all materials as well.
  • Consider using more than one of the approaches listed above. Present one series to the class, but leave the full digital curriculum for the learning community to study on their own.
