Dr. Vern S. Poythress is Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Poythress' background includes a BS from California Institute of Technology (1966); PhD, Harvard University (1970); MDiv and ThM, Westminster Theological Seminary (1974 ); MLitt, University of Cambridge (1977); DTh, University of Stellenbosh (1981). He has authored numerous books and serves as the editor of the Westminster Theological Journa
