Dr. Robert Plummer

Dr. Robert L. Plummer earned both his M.Div. and his Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He returned SBTS in 2002 as the Associate Professor of New Testament Interpretation at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also served on missionary assignments of varying length in China, Israel, Trinidad, Ghana, Malaysia, and Turkey. Dr. Plummer has written 40 Questions About Interpreting the Bible (Kregel, 2010). His articles have appeared in Westminster Theological Journal, Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, New Holman Bible Dictionary, The Southern Baptist Journal of Theology, and other publications. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Institute for Biblical Research. He and his wife, Chandi, have three daughters.
