Dr. Miles Van Pelt

Miles Van Pelt is Associate Professor of Old Testament and became Academic Dean at the Jackson campus of Reformed Theological Seminary in June 2007. He has taught at Gordon College in Wenham, MA and at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA. He has a deep commitment to and passion for teaching students the Bible in its original languages. To that end, Miles is the co-author of Basics of Biblical Hebrew: Grammar (Zondervan, 2001), and has been published extensively in the area of Hebrew language instruction. At the RTS campus in Jackson, Miles teaches Hebrew, Historical Books, Prophetic Literature, and Old Testament Biblical Theology, and he has even been known to teach Greek. He and his wife, Laurie, have four children.
