What is Omnism?
However, Omnism is a self-defeating belief system. Truth is not relative. There can't be one true living God (Jer. 10:10; 1 Thess. 1:9) and 33 million other deities as in Hinduism. There can't be a universal salvation for all people and lost people in Hell too. Jesus says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). The word "the" is rather limiting. Jesus is the "only" way. Since Jesus is "the way," "the truth," and "the life," then Christianity is incompatible with all other religions! By definition, John 14:6 (i.e. Acts 4:12; John 3:36) necessary disqualifies all other religions from providing what is necessary to come to the one true living God.
Only Jesus did what no other man - God-man - could do. Only Jesus lived a sinless life (John 8:46; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 2:22; 1 John 3:5; cf. Isa. 53:9), for the sake of his elect (Rom. 3:22; 5:17; 8:29-30), that they would be credited with his righteousness through God-given faith (Phil. 3:9). Only Jesus died an atoning death (1 John 2:2; 4:10), for his sheep (Isa. 53:4-6; 1 Pet. 3:18), to rescue them from the wrath of God (Rom. 5:8-9). Only Jesus was resurrected from the dead (Acts 1:22; 1 Cor. 15:1-4) to save his people from their sins (Matt. 1:21). Only Jesus can save (Acts 4:12; 10:43; 1 Tim. 2:5).
Therefore, Omnisim is a false belief system, as it can't affirm Christianity while at the same time affirm all other religions.
