Did Josiah die at Megiddo or at Jerusalem? 2 Kings 23:30 and 2 Chronicles 35:24
2 Kings 23:30 Josiahs servants brought his body in a chariot from Megiddo to Jerusalem and buried him in his own tomb. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz son of Josiah and anointed him and made him king in place of his father.2 Chronicles 35:24 So they took him out of his chariot, put him in the other chariot he had and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his fathers, and all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him.
Josiah was wounded and taken from his own chariot and placed in another chariot and then taken to Jerusalem, where he died. Comparably, his body did not lie on the battlefield as Saul's did (1 Chron. 10:8-12) with the risk of desecration, but was buried in peace in Jerusalem (Which Version of King Saul's Death is Correct?).
