Why was Saul rejected by God? 1 Samuel 13:12-13

Question

Was Saul rejected because of an unlawful sacrifice, or disobedience, or for consulting the witch of Endor? ((1 Sam. 13:12-13, 1 Sam. 28:18, 1 Chron. 10:13)

1 Samuel 13:12-13 I thought, "Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the Lords's favor." So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering."You acted foolishly," Samuel said. "You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time."

1 Samuel 28:18 Because you did not obey the LORD or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the LORD has done this to you today.

1 Chronicles 10:13 Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance.

He was rejected because of all of the above.
